Trinity Fatu will defend her IMPACT Knockouts World Champion against Mickie James at IMPACT For Glory 2023 PPV event.
During the IMPACT Wrestling episode, Jai Vidal, who was in Gisele’s corner, accidentally caused her to stumble. Trinity then capitalized by putting Gisele in a submission hold, resulting in her victory. After the match, Vidal and Savannah Evans attempted to attack Trinity, but Mickie James intervened to make the save.
Following James and Trinity’s intervention, Mickie James took a microphone and formally challenged Trinity to a Knockouts World Championship match at Bound For Glory. Trinity, the champion, accepted the challenge.
