AEW Collision episode of June 24, 2023, will be the go-home edition for the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV event and will feature Tanahashi, CM Punk, and more stars.
CM Punk, FTR, & Ricky Starks will team up against Jay White, Juice Robinson, and The Gunns in an eight-man tag team match. Hiroshi Tanahashi will face Swerve Strickland whereas Brody King vs Andrade is also announced. Willow Nightingale will face Skye Blue in the first round of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Swerve Strickland
Hiroshi Tanahashi is all set to wrestle on AEW TV for the first time as he faces Swerve Strickland on this Saturday’s Collision. Tanahashi will be facing MJF for the AEW World Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Will he be able to gain the momentum before the big match?

On this week’s episode of Dynamite, The Gunns defeated the Hardys after interference from Jay White and Juice Robinson. All four of them launched an assault on the Hardys. However, CM Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks eventually came out to make the save. After that CM Punk announced that there would be an eight-man tag team match on Collision. Punk’s team defeated Bullet Club and Samoa Joe last week on Collision. Will they be able to repeat that performance once again?
Andrade El Idolo vs Brody King
Last week on AEW Collision, Andrade El Idolo defeated Buddy Matthews of House of Black in a singles match. After the match, he attempted to shake Buddy’s hand but the latter refused and then House of Black took over the ring he was attacked by Brody King. Now, Andrade will face Brody King in a singles match. Will he be able to defeat the powerhouse of HOB?
Willow Nightingale vs Skye Blue
The first round of Women’s Owen Hart Cup will start on AEW Rampage and it will continue on Collision when Willow Nightingale will face Skye Blue in a singles. The winner of this match will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
What Else is Announced?
Darby Allin and Sting will reveal their partner for Forbidden Door for the match against Chris Jericho’s Le Suzuki Gods on this week’s Collision event.
Christian Cage is set to talk about AEW TNT Championship. Luchasaurus won the title last week from Wardlow after help from Christian. Will Christian take over the title from Wardlow?
Powerhouse Hobbs will be in action in a singles match. Will we see his dominant form once again?
