Wellington Turman vs Jared Gooden fight reported for UFC Fight Night Austin event.

According to the report from MMA Hoje, Turman and Gooden will clash in a welterweight bout on UFC’s December 2, 2023, event.

Wellington Turman is currently facing a two-fight losing streak. In his most recent bout at UFC on ABC 5 event, he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Randy Brown. Prior to that, Turman was defeated by Andre Petroski at UFC 281 event.

Jared Gooden has competed in five matches in UFC, winning one and losing four. His most recent fight took place at UFC on ESPN+ 79 event. He made his return to the promotion but suffered a unanimous decision loss to Carlston Harris. Notably, before the bout, Gooden’s weight exceeded the contracted limit and the bout had to be turned into a catchweight affair. This loss also marked the end of his two-fight winning streak which came in promotions.

UFC Fight Night Austin event is scheduled for December 2, 2023, and it will be broadcast live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, United States. A featherweight bout is also set for the event where Steve Garcia Jr. will face Melquizael Costa.
