UFC 294: Nassourdine Imavov Out, Warlley Alves Faces Ikram Aliskerov

Warlley Alves has come in to replace Nassourdine Imavov to face Ikram Aliskerov at October 21’s UFC 294 event.
According to a report by Marcel Dorff, Imavov will not be facing Aliskerov. Warlley Alves will step in as a replacement. Later, Le Sueur Twitter Account reported that Imavov faced visa issues which has led to his withdrawal.
Warlley Alves is set to make his return to the 185-pound weight class, marking his first appearance in this weight division since his victory in The Ultimate Fighting Brazil 3 back in 2014.

Warlley Alves is currently on a two-fight losing streak. His most recent loss was at UFC 283 event against Nicolas Dalby, and prior to that, he was defeated by Jeremiah Wells. Alves holds a UFC record of 8 wins and 6 losses.
Ikram Aliskerov is currently on a six-fight winning streak. Although his fight at UFC 291 against Paulo Costa was canceled, they were rebooked for a future event. Aliskerov’s most recent victory occurred at UFC 288, where he secured a win by knocking out Phil Hawes.
UFC 294 event is scheduled for October 21, 2023, at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. A featherweight bout is also set for the event, where Nathaniel Wood will face Muhammad Naimov.
