According to the report from Peruvian MMA Instagram Account, McGhee and Bolaños are set to clash in a bantamweight bout at the UFC’s January 13, 2024, event.
The fight between Marcus McGhee and Bolaños was initially scheduled for UFC Vegas 78 but was canceled when Bolaños withdrew from the bout. The specific reason for Bolaños’ withdrawal was not disclosed.
McGee then went on to face JP Buys at UFC Vegas 78, where he secured a knockout victory. He is currently on a four-fight winning streak, with two of those victories coming in the UFC where he emerged victorious against Journey Newson, Luciano Ramos, and Abe Sellers.
Gastón Bolaños is presently on a two-fight winning streak. He has competed in only one match in UFC, which took place at the UFC on ESPN 44 event. Bolaños secured a unanimous decision victory against Aaron Phillips in that bout. Bolaños holds a professional MMA record of 7 wins and 3 losses.
