Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk bout will not take place on December 23rd as originally scheduled.

Frank Warren has officially confirmed that Tyson Fury will not be squaring off against Oleksandr Usyk on December 23. However, he has emphasized that the eagerly anticipated undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO heavyweight world title fight is still in the works and is likely to take place in late January or February.

Tyson Fury currently boasts a 34-fight undefeated streak, remaining undefeated throughout his professional career. His most recent match occurred at an event on October 28, 2023, where he secured a split-decision victory over Francis N’Gannou.

Usyk, a former undisputed Cruiserweight Champion, is currently riding a 21-fight unbeaten streak in his professional career. In his most recent bout, he effectively defended his WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring Magazine World Heavyweight Titles against Daniel Dubois.

Usyk acquired the unified titles by defeating Anthony Joshua in September 2021 and then successfully defended them against Joshua once more in August 2022.
