Terence Crawford returns to the boxing ring after a year on December 10, 2022, as he takes on David Avanesyan to defend WBO Welterweight title.

Crawford was last in action in November 2021 when he defeated Shawn Porter via 10th-round TKO. He spent the better part of the year negotiating a fight with Errol Spence Jr., but when it could not materialize, he quickly went onto face WBO mandatory challenger.

David Avanesyan is former European Welterweight Champion and boasts of a 29-3 record. He has three quick TKO wins since the start of 2021. But, he is still not considered any threat to former Undisputed Super Lightweight Champion and undefeated Crawford.

In the co-main event, MMA fighter Cris Cyborg will take part in her second boxing bout. She will battle Gabrielle Holloway in a 4-round Super Lightweight bout.
