Shakur Stevenson faced Edwin De Los Santos on November 16, 2023, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, days before F1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas.

The pair was set to clash for WBC Lightweight Championship. Shakur Stevenson was taking part in his second fight in the lightweight division. He defeated Shuichiro Yoshino in his lightweight debut in April this year to keep his unbeaten run going. Edwin De Los Santos was coming into this fight on a 3-fight winning streak since his loss to William Foster III in July last year.

The co-main event saw Emmanuel Navarrete defend his WBO Super Featherweight Championship against Robson Conceicao. This is his second title defense for Navarrete after he won the title in February this year. Conceicao lost his last bout to Stevenson in September last year.
