“The Big Baby” Jared Anderson was unbeaten and boasted of 14 knockouts in 14 bouts. Since the start of 2022 itself, he had knocked out Miljan Rovcanin, Jerry Forrest and George Arias, all under 3 rounds. But, he was set for a big challenge and a true test of his calibre as he faced former IBF World Heavyweight Champion Charles Martin.
Martin was coming off a win over Devin Vargas in September last year after being knocked out by Luis Ortiz. That was just his third loss and Anderson can put himself in the league of Anthony Joshua, Adam Kownacki and Luis Ortiz if he managed to beat Martin. Will it be the case though?
The main card of this event aired live on ESPN from 10 PM ET onwards after the end of UFC Vegas 76.
