Jack Catterall vs Jorge Linares WBA IC Title Bout Set for Oct
The WBA Intercontinental Championship bout is officially announced.
DAZN Boxing has announced that Jack Catterall would defend his WBA Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jorge Linares on October 21, 2023.

This bout will serve as the main event at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. The entire event will be available to watch live exclusively on DAZN.
Jack Catterall is coming off a unanimous decision win against Darragh Foley earlier this year in May. Before that, he faced his first career loss when he challenged Josh Taylor for the Undisputed Light-Welterweight World Titles in February 2022.
On the other hand, the former multi-weight world champion Jorge Linares has been going through a rough phase and is currently on a three-fight losing streak. He is coming off a UD loss against Zhora Hamazaryan and before that, he lost to Zaur Abdullaev and Devin Haney.
Jack is determined to get a rematch against Josh Taylor and a win against Jorge Linares will certainly help him. Whereas Jorge is quite focused on breaking his losing streak and winning the title.
