Edgar Berlanga and Jason Quigley headlined a Matchroom Boxing event on June 24, 2023, from The Theater in Madison Square Garden.

Berlanga returned to action after a year since he defeated Roamer Alexis Angulo at the same venue. It was actually his third straight bout at the same venue. Berlanga was also defending WBO NABO Super Middleweight title in this bout. Jason Quigley was in action for the second time this year. He defeated Gabor Gorbics in March this year.

Adam Kownacki was on the undercard as he attempted to break his losing streak. After losing twice to Robert Helenius, he also lost to Ali Eren Demirezen. His opponent Joe Cusumano held a similar record but is coming off two wins in a row.
