Derek Chisora is officially set to return inside the squared circle in London.

After the launch press conference of Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte II, one of the heavyweights who garnered a lot of headlines was Derek Chisora.

Derek Chisora had a chat with Boxing Social where he stated that he is actually boxing on that undercard. He also added that people would hear more soon when he would announce it.

Derek has won only one out of his last five bouts. He hasn’t returned inside the ring ever since his tenth-round TKO loss against Tyson Fury in December 2022. Before that, he defeated Kubrat Pulev, which was also his only win in the last three years.

Several people actually considered Derek Chisora retired after his bout against Fury. However, these recent comments made by the boxer are indicating that he still has some gas left in him.

Derek Chisora is yet to reveal who he will be facing at the O2 Arena in London on August 12, 2023.
