Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are on the verge of finally agreeing to fight again later this year in the Middle East.

According to the latest reports, Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr are on the verge of closing the deal for their clash on September 23 in Saudi Arabia.

Daily Star was the first one to report this news which was confirmed by multiple sources on Twitter. The report also confirmed that if Benn made progress with his UK Anti-Doping case then the promoters would like to host the fight in the UK.

The pair was supposed to square off inside the squared circle last year, but the bout was canceled in a controversial fashion after two positive drug tests of Conor Benn.

Chris Eubank Jr is coming off a fourth-round TKO loss against Liam Smith. This loss also snapped his six-fight winning streak. His last win came against Liam Williams back in February 2022.

On the other hand, Conor Benn is yet to lose a match in his professional career. He is coming off a second-round TKO win against Chris van Heerden where he retained his WBA continental welterweight title.

Now, it remains to be seen whether this bout will take place in the Middle East or in the UK.
