WWE Superstars React to Sudden Release of William Regal

Earlier this evening, it has been revealed that WWE released the former General Manager of NXT, William Regal. Since then, he has become one of the most trending topics all over the internet. 

WWE released a statement where the promotion clarified that they have released several writers, producers, coaches, and staff due to the rebranding of NXT 2.0

Right after the news of William Regal’s release broke out, several WWE superstars took to their social media handles, expressed their gratitude, and praised the WWE career of William Regal. 

Kevin Owens stated that he wouldn’t be in this place today if it wasn’t for William Regal. Sasha Banks also issued the same kind of statement and gave the credit of her success to William Regal. 

Not only them but, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Johhny Gargano, and many more superstars posted tweets to give William Regal his due credit. 

Along with William Regal, WWE also released Ryan Katz, Dave Kapoor, George Carroll, Scott Armstrong, and Christopher Guy in the latest wave of release.
