WWE SmackDown September 8, 2023 episode has two matches announced as it starts the build-up towards Fastlane 2023 event.

AJ Styles vs Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso started a rivalry with The OC out of nowhere when he interrupted Michin backstage while she was talking to Adam Pearce. This led to AJ confronting Jimmy soon, but Solo Sikoa attacked Styles from behind, leading to a match between them. Styles looked set for a win when Jimmy interfered in the match to cost him the match. This week, AJ will get a chance to get revenge against Jimmy in a singles match this week. Will he be successful, or will Jimmy get away once again?

Women’s Tag Team Match

Charlotte Flair and Shotzi will join forces to take on Damage CTRL this week on SmackDown. Shotzi clashed with Bayley last week where Charlotte Flair helped out Shotzi to get a win. Will they be able to repeat the same performance this week again?
