Welcome to Live Results blog for WWE SmackDown episode of November 11, 2022, which will be airing live from Indianapolis, IN.

The show will see a big tag team championship match between The Usos and New Day. The Usos will be looking to become the longest-reigning tag team champions. New Day are attempting to stop them from breaking a record that they hold themselves. Which team will succeed in its mission?

A new #1 contender will be crowned for WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey in a six-pack challenge. SmackDown World Cup will also start from this episode. Shinsuke Nakamura takes on Santos Escobar in a singles match.

Results

  • The Usos(Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso)(c) defeated New Day(Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) in a tag team match via pinfall to retain Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
  • Santos Escobar defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in SmackDown World Cup Round 1 match via pinfall.
  • Shotzi defeated Lacey Evans, Xia Li, Raquel Rodriguez, Sonya Deville & Liv Morgan in a Six Pack Challenge match via pinfall to become #1 contender for WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
  • Braun Strowman defeated Jinder Mahal in SmackDown World Cup Round 1 match via pinfall.

Live Updates

The show kicks off with a recap of Crown Jewel main event match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. The opening song plays before the commentary team welcomes us and wishes a happy veterans day.

The Usos(Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso)(c) vs New Day(Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) – Undisputed WW Tag Team Championship match

Both teams make their entrance one by one. Jey and Woods start for their teams. Jey gets the first blood with a shoulder tackle. Woods takes him down with double leg and puts on a side headlock. A tackle from Woods as Jey gets up to his feet. Kofi tags in and hits a crossbody off the top. Jimmy tags in after Jey takes Kofi to his corner. Jimmy nails a big right before putting on a side headlock. Kofi leapfrogs a couple of times as they run the ropes and hits an uppercut.

New Day hit Unicorn stomps in the corner after quick tags. Woods hits a basement dropkick on Jimmy in the corner. Jey gets in and Woods low bridges him to send him to the floor. Kofi hits a crossbody on both opponents on the floor to take us to a break.

Kofi and Jimmy are trading blows. Jey takes a blind tag and low bridges Kofi to the floor. Jey throws Kofi into the barricade before Jimmy hits him with a suicide dive. Jey whips Kofi hard into the barricade. Back to the ring, Jey talks trash to Kofi and unloads on the ropes. Jimmy takes a cheap shot on Kofi. Jey covers his ears as the crowd chants, “We Want Sami.” The Usos kicks at Kofi’s groin. Jimmy stomps on Kofi’s arm. He rakes Kofi’s face for 5 counts from the referee. Jey now takes a cheap shot as the referee deals with Woods and Jimmy. The Usos kick at Kofi’s groin again.

Kofi hits a missile dropkick off the second rope. He throws Jimmy to the floor but Jey blocks his tag. Jimmy then pulls Woods off the apron to stop the tag. Jey hits a Samoan drop to get a near fall. We cut to a break.

Kofi hits a leaping knee drop on Jey as we return. Woods gets a hot tag against Jimmy and hits clotheslines. He runs the ropes before hits an ax handle. Jey comes and Woods sends him to the corner before hitting a side Russian Leg Sweep. He drops Jimmy’s gut on his knees to get a close two-count. Kofi returns to the apron and gets a tag. Kofi hits a kicks, Woods hits a sliding forearm and Kofi hits an elbow drop. Woods hits a leg drop from the top to get a near fall. Kofi hits a boom drop but misses Trouble in Paradise. Jey gets a tag and nails a punch after Kofi throws Jimmy to the floor. Kofi hits Jey with SOS to get a near fall. New Day are getting frustrated now.

Jey hits an enzuigiri. Woods gets a blind tag and hits Jey with a headbutt. Jey hits a superkick and tags in Jimmy. The Usos start superkick party on Woods and keep Kofi out of the ring. The Usos hit Usos Double Splash but Woods kicks out of the pin. The Usos are frustrated now. The Usos decide to hit 1D on Woods but Kofi drags Jey out of the ring and throws him into the steel steps. Woods drops Jimmy’s face into the ropes. New Day hit midnight hour on Jey on the floor. They hit Midnight Hour on Jimmy in the ring but Jey breaks the pin.

Both teams face off in the ring now to start a brawl. Woods jumps on Jey on the floor but Jey nails him with a superkick. Kofi goes to the top but Jey takes a blind tag to drop him on the turnbuckle. Kofi fights them off. Kofi goes for a splash from the top but The Usos catch him midair with 1D to get the pin.

Winners – The Usos

The Usos will now break the record for longest-reigning tag team champions on Monday as there is no title defense scheduled until then. Woods returns to the ring and checks on Kofi. The Usos points towards the camera. Roman Reigns acknowledges them from backstage.

After the break, The Usos get back to Roman’s room. Roman has tense expressions and The Usos get worried. It was a ruse from Roman. He gets up and appreciates them. He then tells everyone that he has some business to handle in the ring and will need all of them by his side. Roman hugs The Usos to close that segment.

Santos Escobar vs Shinsuke Nakamura – SmackDown World Cup Round 1 Match

Escobar hits a dropkick. Nakamura hits back with an enzuigiri. Escobar slips to the floor. He hits a kick from the apron. Nakamura brings him down on the apron, hits a kick and sends Escobar into the barricade. Nakamura returns to the ring and poses as we cut to a break.

Escobar is in control as we return. Escobar tries to put on single leg crab but Nakamura kicks him in the face. Nakamura then hits an enzuigiri and follows up with punches and a low dropkick. Nakamura kicks at the back of the head before hitting a sliding German suplex. Escobar starts to trade punches now. Escobar kicks at Nakamura’s knee and uses an advanced pin attempt to get a two-count. Nakamura hits a flying knee off the second ropes to get a two-count. Escobar hits a single-leg dropkick and a pump kick.

Nakamura slips off his shoulder and hits a suplex throw. Vega instructs Escobar from the floor. Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde get on the apron and get knocked off by Nakamura. Nakamura hits an overhead kick. Vega distracts the referee and Del Toro pulls Escobar out. Nakamura hits him with a basement slide. He hits a knee strike on Wilde on the floor. Nakamura goes to the top but Escobar catches up with him and hits him with Phantom Driver to get the pin.

Winner – Santos Escobar

We get a special video package for Veterans Day.


LA Knight is getting interviewed backstage. He rants about not being in SmackDown World Cup. The LED behind him flickers with Uncle Howdy. Knights shouts at the interviewer as she looks at the screen. Bray Wyatt comes in and tells Knight that he knows how all the rage feels. He says for the longest time he kept pretending that he is not proud of what he has done. He asks Knight, how far is he willing to go. Knight tells him that he does not care about him. Uncle Howdy flickers on the screen again to tell Bray to get him. Bray drops him with a headbutt and leaves.

Liv Morgan vs Lacey Evans vs Xia Li vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Sonya Deville vs Shotzi – Six Pack Challenge match for WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

A brawl starts. Raquel takes Xia Li to the floor and slams her into the ring post and baricade. Evans fights Shotzi in the corner before she her with a Woman’s Right. Sonya hits her with running knee to break the pin. Liv gets into the ring and attacks Sonya. They fight to the floor. Liv drops Sonya into the steel steps. Li avoids splash from Raquel and she crashes into the ring post. Liv nails Li with a body shot. Sonya drops Liv on the steel steps with a drop-toe hold.

Li takes Shotzi into the ring. Li goes to the top and Raquel hits him with a superplex. Sonya runs in and tries to pin Li, Raquel and Shotzi one by one. But all of them kick out. Sonya slams Raquel’s face to the mat as we cut to a break.

Li is beating up Shotzi as we return. Li hits a spinning kick on Shotzi’s back. Evans gets in and fights Li. Li sends her to the corner and hits a roundhouse kick. Li hits a suplex to get a two-count. Liv hits Li with a missile dropkick. She hits back splashes on Li and Evans in opposite corners for 3-4 times before she hits a rising knee on Li. Morgan hits a codebreaker on Evans and a DDT on Raquel. Sonya catches her with a kick. Everyone starts to hit big moves on each other one by one.

Raquel hits a one-handed powerbomb on Li but Sonya pulls her out of the pin. Raquel slams Sonya’s face into the apron. Raquel brings out a table and sets it up on the floor. Raquel was looking for a powerbomb on Sonya through the table but Liv dives on her to stop that move. All three of them are down on the floor. Shotzi and Evans fight in the ring now. Shotzi hits Never Wake Up and gets the pin.

Winner – Shotzi

After the break, Shotzi is backstage with her tank when Emma comes in to congratulate her. Emma asks her where is Madcap. Shotzi teases her saying that Emma is crushing. Emma smiles and leaves. Shayna Baszler comes in and starts to argue with Shotzi. Shayna tells her to tell everything to turn around and tells it to Ronda in her face. Shotzi turns around to face Ronda, but Shayna puts her in a choke to put her to sleep.


Ricochet is backstage for an interview and is told that he will face Mustafa Ali in SmackDown World Cup. He says World Cup is not only about representing his country, but it is about getting another shot at Intercontinental Championship. Gunther comes in and asks him if he did not get enough beating last time around. He tells Ricochet to fight with all his heart as he would love to beat him again.


We get a recap of Braun Strowman defeating Omos at Crown Jewel. He will be in action next.


We get a recap of how Drew McIntyre outsmarted Scarlett and Karrion Kross to win steel cage match at Crown Jewel.

Braun Strowman vs Jinder Mahal – SmackDown World Cup Round 1 match

Jinder Mahal is out at ringside around the World Cup trophy. He cuts a promo saying he is the greatest ever WWE Champion and tonight he will start his journey back to the top. Strowman’s entrance cuts off his promo.

Jinder catches Strowman with an attack before the bell could ring. He unloads on him in the corner. The bell rings and Strowman pushes Jinder away. Jinder hits a low dropkick to trip Strowman. He hit a rising knee next. Jinder waits for Strowman to get up for a kick but Strowman tackles him to the mat. Strowman drops him again before tackling him to the floor. Strowman then hits a running train on the floor. Back to the ring, Strowman hits a corner splash and then hits a Monster bomb to get the pin.

Winner – Braun Strowman

Valhalla Arrives!

Zelina Vega is out with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. She will face B-Fab who comes out with Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis. The Viking Raiders’ music hits. Sarah Logan is at the stage to announce that Valhalla has arrived. Erik and Ivar attack Del Toro and Wilde from behind after coming through the crowd. They run riot and beat up both teams. Zelina Vega runs away unscathed though as Logan beats up B-Fab. Cruz and Del Toro are thrown into the barricade. Adonis is hit with a Viking splash. Top Dolla is dropped with a double powerbomb. Logan drops B-Fab with a headbutt.

Roman Reigns Special Moment

Roman Reigns makes his entrance with Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa and The Usos. We cut to a break.

“Ucey” chants from the crowd as Paul Heyman hands a mic to Roman. Roman asks the crowd to acknowledge him. Heyman then says he and Roman were discussing on their flight to this hell hole. Loud boos from the crowd. Heyman tells them this is not very “Ucey” from them. Heyman talks about great rivalries in WWE history, but the Usos vs New Day is not one of them. Roman Reigns then says it is not easy to be his cousins as everyone always acknowledged him for his greatness. The Brawling Brutes interrupt them. They say they are tired of The Bloodline using the number’s game and are here for a fight. Roman laughs at them, but stops when Sheamus makes his entrance.

The Brawling Brutes get into the ring and attack the Bloodline. Roman is standing all alone while others brawl. Drew McIntyre’s music hits and he runs into the ring. He starts a brawl with Solo Sikoa and gets better of him. Roman drops Drew with a punch. Sheamus starts to brawl with Roman. The brawl continues as the show goes off the air.
