- Rey Mysterio defeated Jimmy Uso in a singles match via pinfall.
- Reginald defeated Chad Gable by disqualification in a singles match.
- Cesaro, Big E and King Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler & Apollo Crews in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks defeated Carmella & Zelina Vega in a tag team match via submission.
John Cena Opens The Show
John Cena opens the show and makes his way to the ring with a great pop from the crowd. We see the recap from last week where Roman rejected his challenge and accepted Finn Balor’s Challenger. Cena takes the mic. He brings up Roman signing a contract later today for facing Finn Balor at SummerSlam. Cena says despite all the passive-aggressive energy, Roman is just a scared kid. But Cena has a problem with Roman rejecting him due to him being himself. Cena asks us if they would have liked it if Stone Cold and Rock would have changed.
Roman expected him to change because we stopped caring about him. Roman does not believe in himself. Cena says Roman is not afraid of him because of how he looks, but he is afraid because of how he would make Roman look. Cena drops the mic. Baron Corbin comes out and the crowd starts chanting “You Suck.” Corbin comes into the ring and talks about being desperate and broke. Corbin brings up that he sustained an injury to a sensitive part of his body, and he is unable to perform. His wife has left him and took away his son.
Corbin wants some help from the world’s most charitable man. After some cheers from the crowd, Cena hands him some money. Corbin calls Cena a sellout. Cena hits him with Attitude adjustment and leaves.
Rey Mysterio vs Jimmy Uso
Dominik Mysterio helped out Rey with an assist to get the pin after a back and forth match.

What’s Next For Bianca?
Bianca Belair is out before the break. Kayla Braxton joins her in the ring. Kayla talks about Bianca beating Carmella last week and have surpassed 100 days mark in her title reign. The crowd cheers for Bianca. Bianca says last few weeks have been very interesting. It just keeps getting better and she does not know how she would top it.
Carmella’s music interrupts her. Carmella comes out and says Bianca should give her another title match. Carmella enters the ring and starts making excuses on her loss last week. Zelina Vega’s music hits and she comes out next. Vega mocks Carmella before entering the ring. Vega tells Bianca that WWE Universe would like her to challenge someone up and coming like her.
Bianca goes to have a face-off with Vega but Carmella attacks her from behind. Vega joins her in the attack. Sasha Banks’ music hits and she runs out to make the save. A knee to the face to Carmella from the apron. Sasha catches Vega’s kicks and sends her out of the ring. She picks up Bianca and hugs her as the crowd pops. Bianca is shocked at Sasha hugging her.
Sasha’s music hits and she starts dancing a bit. Bianca grooves her a bit as we cut to the commentators talking about Reginald winning 24/7 title two weeks back.
Reginald vs Chad Gable
Reginald is interviewed at Gorilla position. He says he has to be ready for anything as the 24/7 Champion. Reggi makes his entrance. The Alpha Academy duo comes out to the ring. Reggi thinks Otis is the one he is facing. Otis takes the mic and says it’s not him he is facing, but Gable. Otis attacks Reginald and slams him to the mat a few times.
Gable attacks Reggi as soon as the bell rings. Gable hits a few chops before Reginald does some acrobatic stuff to avoid a few moves. Gable slams him to the mat and then bridges a German suplex for a two-count. Reggi avoids more attack by doing some flips. Reginald hits a seated senton after some moonsaults. Otis attacks Reginald to cause a DQ.
Winner – Reginald
Reginald escapes from the ring after the match. Otis stares down at him hard from the ring.
Backstage, Sonya Deville tells Adam Pearce that the main event for tonight is official and all parties are informed. It will be Carmella and Zelina Vega taking on Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks.
Who will Face Roman at Summerslam?
Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce are out in the ring for a SummerSlam contract signing. They talk about the unpredictability of these signings, but want to get it done in the most efficient way possible. They introduce Finn Balor and he comes out to a pop. The crowd is behind Balor as he does his entrance sequence and waits for Roman to come out. Pearce announces WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns who comes out with Paul Heyman. We hear a lot of boos from the crowd.
Reigns enters the ring and raises the title as pyro goes off. Heyman takes a chairs and positions it at the head of the table. Reigns takes that chair. Balor is already seated now on one side. Pearce tells them to look over the contract and sign. Fans start chanting John Cena’s name. Reigns says we have already seen Mr. Missionary tonight. Reigns ask Balor if he caught Cena’s promo and says Cena thinks Balor is a lesser man than him. He adds that Balor is worthy to challenge for the title, and worthy to catch this beatdown at SummerSlam.
Reigns says Balor is different than Cena and is hungry. He says if Balor signs this contract, Reigns has to smash him and send him right back to WWE NXT. Reigns puts the mic down as the crowd boo and signs the contract.
Balor takes the mic and says Reigns must think pretty highly of himself and that it will be his privilege to return to NXT once again as Universal Champion. Balor puts the mic down and goes to sign the contract. Baron Corbin suddenly attacks Balor from behind and slams his head into the table. Corbin is beating up Balor on the floor and sends him over the announce table. Corbin picks up the contract as he return to the ring. Roman looks at him intriguingly. Corbin is about to sign the SummerSlam contract when Cena runs into the ring.
Cena sends Corbin into the ring post and out to the floor. Cena picks the SummerSlam contract at the ringside and looks it over. Reigns gets angry as he watches Cena. Cena grabs a marker and signs his name to the contract. Cena shows the signed contract to the camera and makes the match official with Reigns for SummerSlam. Cena taunts Reigns and exits the ring as his music hits. Reigns is seething now as Heyman kneels down next to him.
After the break, Paul Heyman stops Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville backstage. Heyman asks them what they are going to do about SummerSlam as the contract has Balor’s name but Cena signed it. It is not legal and binding. Pearce says he sees Cena’s signature, and Roman Reigns’ signature. So, Cena vs Reigns is official for SummerSlam. Heyman goes away in anger.
Cesaro, Big E & King Shinsuke Nakamura vs Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler & Apollo Crews
Winner – Cesaro, Big E & King Shinsuke Nakamura
Edge comes out to the ramp and his pyro goes off. We cut to the break.
After the break, Seth Rollins is in the ring. We see that Rollins attacked Edge on the ramp during the break and hit him with a camera. Rollins takes the mic and rants about how Edge has done nothing but take from him. Rollins calls himself a revolutionary. Rollins shows us a video package of recent events that led to where he and Edge are now.
Rollins says he is not ashamed, that was a hard thing to do, but the right thing to do. Fans chant “we want Becky!” now for Rollins’ fiancee, Becky Lynch. Rollins says he is the rightful heir to the Universal Title, and if he can’t be champion, neither can Edge. Rollins tosses the mic and laughs, then exits the ring as fans boo.
Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair vs Carmella and Zelina Vega
Winner – Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair
After the match, Banks and Belair stand tall and celebrate as the music hits. We go to replays. Banks and Belair continue dancing around the ring until Banks drops her out of nowhere with a Backstabber. Fans go wild. Banks grabs the title but drops it to mount Belair with right hands. Some fans in the crowd are shocked as the camera focuses on them.
Banks shoves the title in Belair’s face and talks some trash, then goes back to beating on her in the corner. Banks drops Belair with a tornado DDT and applies the Bank Statement in the middle of the ring. Belair screams out as the referee tries to break the hold. Fans continue to boo Banks as Belair cries out. Banks stands tall to mostly boos, but a few cheers.
