WWE SmackDown October 6 Preview, Sneak Peak & Match Card
WWE SmackDown will present its 1259th episode on October 6, 2023, which will also serve as the go-home show for Fastlane 2023 PLE.
Dragon Lee vs Austin Theory is the only match announced in advance. Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor are set for appearance and so are Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. John Cena is also advertised for the show. Check below for our preview on what to expect from the show.
John Cena & LA Knight
John Cena was ready to take on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa alone, but for the second week in a row, he got to know how difficult it is. LA Knight then appeared to help him out to deal with the Bloodline and made himself available for Fastlane. While last week’s show ended without we could hear from either man, we can be rest assured that they will cut a promo together this week on SmackDown.
Dragon Lee Debuts on SmackDown
Dragon Lee signed with WWE just at the end of last year, but he became one of the quickest to debut from NXT to main roster in recent years. He made his main roster debut with NXT North American title match against Dominik on RAW last week. Now, he is set to take on Austin Theory in his SmackDown debut. The match stemmed from Austin Theory taking shots at Rey Mysterio while Lee was in the front row last week. Will Lee get revenge on behalf of his idol?
Judgment Day & Cody on SmackDown
Finn Balor and Damian Priest are Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, meaning they are also SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The champs will arrive at SmackDown for the first time in months. However, their title challengers for Fastlane will be not left behind as Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso also come to the blue brand. How will Jey be greeted on his return to SmackDown? Does Judgment Day has some secret plan with The Bloodline for him?
