Women Battle Royal Announced for AEW All Out 2019
AEW has announced a Women’s Battle Royal at AEW All Out Buy In Pre-show to determine the contender for the first AEW Women’s Championship and Teal Piper, Jazz and Ivelisse will be among the participants.
AEW will crown their first Women’s Champion at the TV debut at TNT on 2nd October this year. In the latest Road to AEW All Out, Brandi Rhodes talked about how it will be decided that who gets the first shot at the AEW Women’s Championship. She announced that announces the Casino Battle Royal will be making a return at AEW All Out Buy In pre-show on August 31 in Chicago, with 21 Women competing for the title shot.
Brandi confirmed that she, Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, Yuka Sakazaki, and Allie will be part of the Battle Royal. She also mentioned that AEW does not have 21 Women Wrestlers on their roster, so there will be some faces in the Battle Royal. Then, she announces that Teal Piper, the daughter of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, will be part of the match. Later in the video, Ivelisse and Jazz also revealed themselves to be the part of the Battle Royal.
These three names are only announced for the All Out’s Women’s Battle Royal for now. There has been no confirmation if they have permanently signed with AEW. But by the looks of it, at least Teal Piper is set to be part of the AEW roster going forward. Current AEW Women’s Roster is as follows:
