Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring. He reminds us of his SummerSlam challenge to Aleister Black from last week. He is furious that instead of accepting the challenge, Black has remained silent. Maybe because he is safe there. Aleister Black’s music hits and he announces that their match will not happen at SummerSlam but it will take place right away.

Aleister Black defeated Sami Zayn

Zayn hits a kick to the gut and Black responds with a roundhouse that knocks him out of the ring. Aleister does his signature backflip before sitting in the ring as we head to a break. Back from the break and Sami hits Black with a clothesline. Sami chops Black but Black rocks him a strike of his own. Sami keeps control and hits another clothesline for a 2 count. Black mounts offense now but Sami catches him with a backbreaker for a 2 count. Sami grounds Black and puts him in a headlock to keep him down. Black counters Sami and makes a comeback in the middle of the ring. Black builds up some momentum with a series of kicks and a moonsault. He nails Sami with a running knee before hitting Black Mass for the pin and the win.

Bray Wyatt with another Firefly Funhouse segment. Wyatt takes shots at Finn Balor and mentions Huskus eats sugary snacks to mask his insecurities. He labels Balor as foolish to invite the Fiend willingly. He guesses its Balor turn to let him in. The screen flickers as we get glimpses of the Fiend.

Elias approaches Chad Gable backstage and insults him, taking a shot at his height and saying he looks like a child. Elias gets in Gable’s face and then walks off.

The rivalry between Randy Orton and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is narrated by Kofi in a special backstage interview segment.

Big E and Xavier Woods defeated Daniel Bryan and Rowan with a Disqualification

Bryan rushes Woods after the bell and gets in a few strikes to start. Woods takes him down with a head-scissor and knocks him out of the ring to hit a dive over the top rope.

Big E turn Bryan inside out with a clothesline. Woods tags back in and Big E drops him onto Bryan for a near fall. Rowan helps Bryan regain the upper hand against Xavier. He wrenches Woods’ neck in a submission for a little while. Woods gets to his feet and hits an elbow out of desperation but Bryan tags in Rowan first. The Redwood knocks Big E off the apron and drives Woods into the barricade and timekeeper’s area.

Big E gets the hot tag after the break and hits a series of belly to belly suplexes and a running slam on Bryan. The former WWE champion hits a few kicks before E rolls him up for two. Big E locks him in a muffler submission but Bryan counters into the Lebell Lock. Big E powers out of the hold and slams Bryan for a near fall. Rowan gets the tag and hits a spin kick to take E down for a two count.

Woods makes a blind tag and hits an elbow drop from 3/4 of the way across the ring. Bryan breaks up the pin and Big E spears him off of the apron. Rowan uses a set of steps on Woods to cause a DQ. Rowan and Bryan continues to assault their opponents. They toss them around and before bringing them back to the ring. Big E gets the Iron Claw slam and Woods eats a running knee.

The camera cuts to Roman Reigns backstage as he makes his way to the locker room. He orders everyone to clear the room apart from Buddy Murphy. He tells Murphy that he saw him at the accident site last week. Murphy says he does not know who attacked him and even if he did, he would not have told him. Reigns attacks him and after some beating, Murphy reveals he saw Rowan at the sight of the first accident. The show goes off the air with Bryan and Rowan seeing all of this from the titantron.

So, the mystery attacker is revealed but the match is not fixed. Neither did we get any explanation for why Rowan was attacking Reigns.
