Sasha Banks & Naomi Returning to WWE Soon?
Sasha Banks and Naomi might return to WWE soon, as per the latest report.
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and multiple times World Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi were suspended from WWE on May 16, 2022, after they walked out of RAW that night.
Banks and Naomi reportedly left in protest of Women’s tag team titles not getting the focus it deserve on the show and both of them being put in a program for singles titles. WWE announced on air that the duo left the building that night and were later suspended. It was also reported by Wrestling Inc’s Raj Giri that Sasha was released in June. Those reports were not confirmed by WWE, but several other reporters were of the same opinion that Sasha and Naomi were quietly let go off from WWE.
However, after the new management came in place in WWE, the promotion has reportedly started a discussion with the duo to come back. Now, WrestlingNews.co has reported that “an agreement has been reached for Sasha Banks and Naomi to return to the company”.
Additionally, Wrestling Observer’s Brian Alvarez has confirmed with his sources that this report are true, but he can’t say 100% that Banks and Naomi will return.
Both women are currently scheduled for Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo this weekend in Chicago in their first official appearance since leaving WWE. We will keep you updated on the latest updates on this topic.
