Update on Sasha Banks & Naomi Situation

Everyone is curious to know what the future holds for the WWE women’s tag team champions Sasha Banks and Naomi after they walked out on this week’s episode of Raw. 

PWInsider posted an update where it was revealed that neither Sasha Banks nor Naomi is in Michigan for the tapings of tonight’s episode of SmackDown. 

Naomi’s husband Jimmy Uso already reached the venue as he is a part of the main event title unification bout tonight. Their sources stated that Naomi didn’t travel with Jimmy. 

Not only that but Sasha Banks was also spotted on the flight from Minneapolis to Orlando. So, now it is almost confirmed that the women’s tag-team champions would not appear on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown. 

Everything started when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out during Raw due to creative differences despite being advertised for the main event which Naomi was scheduled to win. As a result, WWE had to change the main event into a singles match between Asuka and Becky Lynch which was won by Asuka. 

A report also came out that Naomi’s WWE contract is about to expire and it is something to do with her walking out this Monday during Raw.
