Matt Riddle may be in for a big title match at Royal Rumble 2021 PPV. Recently, Riddle has been at odds with the Hurt Business faction which includes WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley.

On this week’s RAW, Riddle was in Jeff Hardy & The New Day’s corner in their match against the Hurt Business. Lashley won the match for his team after putting Jeff Hardy in the Hurt Lock to get the submission.

There have been speculations that Riddle will get the title shot at WWE TLC 2020 PPV this Sunday. But the match has not been announced as of yet. Now, Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Matt Riddle vs United States Champion Bobby Lashley is shifted to WWE Royal Rumble 2021.

Roman Reigns to Face Old Nemesis at Royal Rumble

Roman Reigns is currently scheduled to defend his Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at WWE TLC 2020. However, there is little doubt that he will come out victorious from the event. With this comes the speculation about his next challenger.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Daniel Bryan is currently seen as Roman’s next big challenger and will likely face him at Royal Rumble 2021. A triple threat match between Roman, Owens and Bryan can also take place if Owens vs Roman rivalry continues further.

What Do We Know About Royal Rumble 2021 So Far?

Royal Rumble 2021 is not announced by WWE, but will likely take place on either 24 January or 31 January. WWE is looking to host the event at Tropicana Field in St. Pitersburg where they are currently hosting WWE Thunderdome for RAW and SmackDown.

The company is looking to bring fans into the location for the event as per recent reports. But that scenario will depend on the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the guidelines around that time.
