WWE Suspends Robert Roode & Primo Colon For Wellness Policy Violations
WWE has suspended two Superstars- Robert Roode and Primo Colon for 30 days for Wellness Policy violations.
Pro Wrestling Sheet earlier broke the news that both Robert Roode and Primo Colon have been hit with 30-day suspensions after violating the Wellness Policy this week. Later, WWE also made the news official via their website and social media handles. Currently, there is no information on what substance they were found positive for.
WWE’s Talent Wellness Program is a comprehensive drug, alcohol, and cardiac screening program. It was initiated in February 2006 in the wake of the sudden death of former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero. The Wellness Policy requires that all talent under contract to WWE to undergo testing.
Robert Roode was last seen in a match against Roman Reigns on SmackDown episode of 29 November 2019. After his loss and a post-match beatdown, he was stretchered out of the arena. Roode was recently drafted to SmackDown roster during the WWE Draft 2019. He has been the RAW Tag Team Champion earlier this year with Chad Gable and then Dolph Ziggler.
Primo Colon has been off WWE TV for many months now. He was last seen at WrestleMania 34 last year in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. He has been part of a tag team the Colons in WWE with his real-life cousin Epico. They have both been recently working for the WWC promotion in Puerto Rico.
