WWE SmackDown Live Results and Updates- 29 November 2019
Welcome to ITN’s Live Results and Updates Blog for WWE SmackDown episode of 29 November 2019(11/29/2019).
- Date- 29 November 2019
- Location- Legacy Arena, Birmingham, Alabama, US
- Time- 8 PM EST(30 November 2019 1 AM GMT/6:30 AM IST)
This will be post-Survivor Series episode of Friday Night SmackDown, but it already feels like Survivor Series was ages back. This may be due to the fact that we have already seen 6 wrestling shows this week if you follow each and every weekly Wrestling show from WWE, AEW, NWA, and Impact.
WWE has not announced any match for the show yet(maybe due to lack of staff on Thanksgiving holiday). The only segment that is currently announced is with Bray Wyatt. WWE Universal Champion will reveal a new character on the Firefly Fun House. We will add more matches here when announced.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Big Dog!
Reigns comes out to the ring with a pop. He takes the mic and wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. He goes on about having family and good health this year and says it’s an absolute blessing. Roman talks about how SmackDown won his Survivor Series match. He thanks all of his partners- Mustafa Ali, Shorty G, Braun Strowman, but not Baron Corbin. He says they had one dummy on the team and we know who it was.
Reigns wants to bring the dummy out to apologize. The music hits and King Baron Corbin comes out. Corbin goes on taking shots at Reigns and talking about how he’s better than Reigns, and why as a King he had a better Thanksgiving than everyone else. Corbin goes on and reveals that he has someone to punish Reigns tonight. The music hits as Corbin brings out the opponent for Reigns – Robert Roode.
Roman Reigns vs Robert Roode
Roode applies a headlock to start. Roman pushes him away but Roode knocks him down with a shoulder tackle. Roman hits some punches and corners Roode for some more. An uppercut sends Roode outside the ring and Roman hits a drive-by before staring down Corbin. Ziggler grabs his leg on the apron so that Roode could push him onto the announce table. Roode gets some strikes going before hitting a spinebuster on the announce table. He slams Roman’s spine into the barricade as we go to the break.
Roman makes a comeback with a couple of clotheslines as we return. He hits some corner clotheslines on Roode before staring down at Corbin. Ziggler distracts Roman and he misses a Superman punch. Roode takes him down and hits a double ax handle for two-count. Roode goes for the Glorious DDT but Roman turns it around and hits a sit-out powerbomb for a nearfall. Roman gets the crowd going behind him as he gets ready for the Superman punch.
Ziggler pulls Roode out of the ring and Roman runs to hit Superman punch on him. But Roode slams his face into the ring post and steel steps before throwing him in. He goes for the double ax handle and eats a Superman punch for a nearfall. Roman amps up but the spear is turned into a spinebuster by Roode for a nearfall. Corbin throws in his scepter in the ring and distracts the referee. But that does not help as Roman nails an uppercut on Roode. He hits a Superman punch to Corbin on the apron and cuts Roode in half with a spear to get the win.
Winner- Roman Reigns
