Report: John Cena To Be Special Guest Host at WWE Payback 2023
John Cena will reportedly play the special guest host WWE Payback 2023 PLE on this Saturday.
Cena is set to return to WWE on Friday, September 1’s Smackdown episode. The agenda or storyline for his return is not set yet.
WWE Insider Twitter Account WrestleVotes is now reporting that there are rumblings of Payback having a special guest host, and the host might be none other than John Cena.

WWE Payback is set to take place on September 2, 2023, at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. The role of a host at WWE events have been changing event by event everytime. If he plays host, Cena might appear for a segment, either to open the show or later stages, to get the crowd going.
John Cena will be a consistent presence for the next two months. After his appearance on September 1 SmackDown, he is set to appear at WWE Superstar Spectacle India event on September 8.
After this, he will be appearing on Smackdown for 7 consecutive weeks from September 15 to October 27 episodes. Throughout these appearances, Cena will host children along with their families in a partnership with Make-A-Wish.
