Kayla Braxton is with the OC backstage. She asks them what is going to be their strategy in their match against the Street Profits. Anderson goes off and says that Street Profits do not deserve to be the hosts of RAW. They goes on and hype their chances for the match and also throw in some “Cleveland sucks”, before ending the interview with a “Too Sweet!”
We get the Instant Impact section where we get the highlights from Andrade, Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy who have arrived at RAW in the WWE Draft 2019. Aleister Black is now on the screen with another one of his dark backstage promos. He tells us that his rage is beyond redemption but it is making him mad.
Aleister Black vs Jason Reynolds
Aleister Black comes out after the break and will take on an enhancement talent Jason Reynolds. They lock up after the bell and Reynolds takes it to the corner. Black counters quickly and unloads a few kicks. Black sits cross-legged in the middle of the ring after taking him down. Black continues with his strikes before Reynolds turns it around in the corner and beats Black down with strikes. Black comes back with a big kick and a big knee to follow up. Black goes on and hits Black Mass for the pin to win.
Winner- Aleister Black
Authors of Pain with another backstage promo. They tell us, “No tag team wants to fight against them. But RAW still signed them, so that they can prevent them from moving to SmackDown”. They also say, “Next chapter in the tag team wrestling will be written in blood.”
Rusev at the King’s Court to discuss Lana and Lashley
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler is in the ring for King’s Court segment. He talks about everyone has been talking about Lana and Bobby Lashley. HE introduces Rusev and out he comes as the music hits. Lawler says he believes what happens in a marriage should stay there, but Lana and Lashley have really put everything out there in the public. Lawler gets the “What!?” treatment from some fans but Rusev tells them to stop because Lawler is a Hall of Famer. Rusev says this is all Lashley’s fault, he’s poisoned Lana’s brand, and for that, he will be crushed.
Lana and Lashley appear on the big screen and they are out at dinner. Lashley tells Rusev he wishes they could discuss this in person but his woman has needs. Lana says they are at her favorite restaurant but Rusev wouldn’t know because he never took her, despite her asking. They love on each other some more before the Tron feed cuts out. Fans boo Lashley and Lana. Lawler asks Rusev what he thinks of what we just saw. Rusev says he wants to deliver his message in person and he knows right where they are. Rusev drops the mic and runs out of the ring.
