Braun Strowman vs Randy Orton Announced for WWE RAW 19 April Episode
WWE has announced a first time ever match between Randy Orton and Braun Strowman for WWE RAW episode of 19 April 2021.
Both Orton and Strowman were part of the triple threat #1 contender match for WWE Championship. Drew McIntyre won that match to set up a rematch with Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash 2021 event. Orton had Strowman hit with an RKO before McIntyre broke the pin with a Claymore and got the pin on Orton.
Now, WWE has announced a match between Orton and Strowman itself. It will be interesting to see if the sequence from #1 contender match would come into play in some manner.
Both men are coming with a win at WrestleMania 37. Strowman defeated Shane McMahon in a Steel Cage match while Orton defeated The Fiend in a singles match.
