The final of Super Junior Tag League 2023 took place at the event between Catch 2/2 and House . Will Ospreay defended IWGP US/UK Heavyweight Championship against Shota Umino. IWGP Sanada faced Tetsuya Naito in a tag team match.

NOTES & STORYLINES
Power Struggle is one of the yearly events from NJPW, which has taken place every year from 2011 to 2021. The event is returning for 2023 at Prefectural Arena in Osaka, Japan, where it has taken place every year. In 2022, event took place under the name Battle Autumn at the same arena as NJPW was using older event names in their 50th-anniversary year.
Road to Power Struggle event will take place in conjunction with Super Junior Tag League 2023 events, and the final of the tournament will take place at this event.
IWGP World Champion Sanada and his Wrestle Kingdom 18 challenger Tetsuya Naito would continue the build-up for their match with a tag team match. Yuya Uemura would be in Sanada’s corner, while Yota Tsuji would be in Naito’s corner.
Will Ospreay retained his IWGP US/UK Heavyweight Championship against Zack Sabre Jr. at Royal Quest III event. After the match, Shota Umino confronted him and challenged him for the title match. The match was announced for this event after Ospreay accepted the challenge. Jon Moxley was also announced to face Ospreay’s stable mate Great-O-Khan.
