Tetsuya Naito and Will Ospreay were set to clash in one of the semifinals for the second year in a row. Naito had lost both their encounters so far. Was he able to overcome IWGP US Champion this time around?
Kazuchika Okada was just one step away from making way to his fifth G1 Climax final match. He has been the winner of the tournament in the last two years, and was looking to make a hattrick. However, Evil stood in his path and was coming off beating IWGP World Champion Sanada. Was Okada successful?
