NJPW Best of Super Juniors 2023 Night 4 Results, May 16, 2023
Night 4 of NJPW Best of Super Juniors 30 event series was set for May 16, 2023 from Prefectural Budokan in Akita, Japan.
Lio Rush vs Taiji Ishimori bout headlined the event from block A with both men on 6 points each in 3 matches. Rush had won their only previous clash so far in singles competition. Master Wato vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru from block B was the co-main event. Wato had 1 win in the tournament while Kanemaru was in the top half with 2 wins and a loss.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi faced SHO as he tried to turn around an unconvincing tournament where he had lost twice and won only once. Mike Bailey, 1 of only 3 men unbeaten in the tournament, faced a familiar challenge in KUSHIDA.
