Stipulation Added to Moxley vs Omega Match at AEW Full Gear
The match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear 2019 is going to be an unsanctioned lights out match.
The last week’s AEW Dynamite episode ended with Jon Moxley vs PAC match ending in the time limit draw. Post-match, Moxley had a brief confrontation with Omega when he made the save on him. This week’s AEW Dynamite started with the footage after this moment. Moxley would go to Tony Khan’s cabin to vent his frustration on the time limit draw.
But Tony Khan would give him worse news. Khan told Moxley that due to all the violence leading up to the match, AEW cannot be liable for what could happen. Therefore, the match between Moxley and Omega will be an unsanctioned match. This would mean no time limit, DQ, or rules. But also, the result will not count in the win/loss record that AEW is so keen on.
Moxley was definitely not happy with the change and vented his frustration by hitting the paradigm shift on Peter Avalon. He went on to cut a promo next and pointed out that when he beats Omega, one of the top guys in AEW, they will just pretend that it never happened. He is feeling that AEW is treating him like a freak. And if this is how it is going to be, then AEW can keep their win/loss record in their a** and stay the hell out of his way.
Moxley and Omega were earlier supposed to be facing off at AEW All Out 2019. But the match was canceled due to Moxley undergoing for a staph infection. Omega instead had a match with PAC at All Out.
