Two Money in the Bank Qualifiers Set for Smackdown June 10

WWE has announced two Money in the Bank Qualifier matches to take place at SmackDown June 10, 2022 show.

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will clash on SmackDown in the qualifier for men’s Money in the Bank match.

Former friends turned rivals, Sheamus and McIntyre earlier had a feud in the lead-up to WrestleMania 37. McIntyre returned to SmackDown two weeks back to team up with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods from New Day against The Brawling Brutes. McIntyre’s team defeated The Brawling Brutes in a trios match on May 27 episode of SmackDown. The Brawling Brutes defeated New Day and McIntyre on last week’s SmackDown.

Lacey Evans and Xia Lia will return to action in the qualifier for women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Evans has not wrestled a match since February 2021 after which she was out of action with a pregnancy. Evans returned to WWE TV last month with several vignettes and promos hyping his new face character.

Xia Li was part of the six pack challenge #1 contender match for SmackDown Championship, which was just her second televised match this year. She earlier defeated Natalya in a singles match on SmackDown back in February.

More qualifiers for Money in the Bank ladder match are expected to take place on upcoming RAW and SmackDown episodes. Money in the Bank 2022 event will take place on July 2 from MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
