Report: Mia Yim/Reckoning Moving to SmackDown
Mia Yim/Reckoning might be moving to SmackDown as per a latest report.
Mia Yim’s main roster debut came in August 2020 on WWE RAW as Reckoning, who was part of the rebel group RETRIBUTION. However, her acts were limited to ringside and she only featured in matches only twice on WWE RAW. She also traded a win and a loss against Nikki Cross on WWE Main Event.
RETRIBUTION sort of disbanded when the group turned on its leader Mustafa Ali in the pre-show of Elimination Chamber PPV. T-Bar and Mace attacked Drew McIntyre last week on RAW and have seemingly joined Hurt Business.
Now, PWInsider is reporting that Mia Yim might be moved to SmackDown after RETRIBUTION is disbanded. The report mentioned that it is currenlty now confirmed whether Mia Yim will continue to work as Reckoning or not after her move to SmackDown.
WWE released three women’s wrestlers from SmackDown last week- Billie Kay, Chelsea Green and Mickie James, creating a shortage of women’s wrestlers on the brand. It is expected that Becky Lynch would also return to SmackDown in due time.
Fans might be hoping that Mia Yim gets a clean slate now on her move to SmackDown and get to return to her old character from NXT.
