Mark Briscoe Lucha Bros vs Varsity Athletes AEW Revolution 2023

AEW has confirmed the first match for AEW Revolution 2023 Zero Hour pre-show where Mark Briscoe and Lucha Bros will face Varisty Athletes and Ari Daivari.

Mark Briscoe appeared on Rampage episode of March 3, 2023, for a promo where he thought about joining his brother Jay Briscoe in Battle Royal this week on Dynamite before realizing Jay is no more. Mark then revealed watching Lucha Bros fighting together.

Lucha Bros and Alex Abrahantes then joined Mark to say that they stand with him. The group then challenged Mark Sterling’s clients Josh Woods, Tony Nese and Ari Daivari for a match at AEW Revolution 2023.

Earlier, Mark Sterling offered Mark Briscoe to join his faction. When Briscoe declined, Sterling resorted to name-calling. When Briscoe tried to get his hands on Sterling, Josh Woods blocked him and told him that AEW is big league.

Briscoe defeated Woods in a singles match at AEW Dynamite February 15, 2023 episode. He also defeated Slim J of Ari Daivari’s Trustbusters stable on ROH’s return on Honorclub on March 2, 2023.

This remains the only match as of now for Zero Hour pre-show of AEW Revolution 2023. The show will start at 7 PM ET on March 6, 2023, on AEW’s Youtube Channel as well as on Fite TV and B/R live streaming.
