Luchasaurus vs Spears TNT Title Match Set for AEW Battle of the Belts VII
Luchasaurus will defend the TNT Championship against Shawn Spears at AEW Battle of the Belts VII event.
During the last week’s AEW Collision episode, Spears had a clash with Luchasaurus and his manager, Christian Cage. Cage told Spears to walk away as he is not dangerous, but Spears replied that he would see them soon.
On the July 8 episode of AEW Collision, a video was broadcast where Spears mentioned to Cage that he should be ready for the caution and also said that real danger is coming his way. Spears also acknowledged that Christian Cage should not underestimate his true capabilities.

Luchasaurus won the TNT championship by defeating Wardlow on the June 17 episode of AEW Collision. After the match, Christian Cage has been holding and carrying around the title as if he he won the title. Cage has also declared that there will be no open challenges for the title which was the case for the past champions. The match against Spears will be Luchasaurus’ first title defense.
AEW Battle of The Belts VII event is set to air on July 15, 2023, just after Collison episode on the same night from the same arena. This is the first match to be announced for the show which only features title matches.
July 15 Collision event will also feature Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final matches and a 2-out-of-3 falls match for AEW Tag Team Championship between FTR and Bullet Club Gold.
