A new series started in the form of AEW Collision on June 17, 2023, and we were here to post all the results live from the show.

CM Punk’s return to AEW was going to be the highlight of the show as he was set to “get things off his chest”. He was also set to headline the show as he teams up with FTR to take on Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White & Juice Robinson and ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe.

Two more returns were also set for the show. Andrade El Idolo would be seen in AEW for the first time since September last year. He would take on Buddy Mathews from House of Black. Miro will also return to action in a singles match.

Wardlow is set for a big match as he defended AEW TNT Championship against Luchasaurus. A women’s tag team match was also set with Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue take on Toni Storm and Ruby Soho. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn were also announced for a segment.

CM Punk! CM Punk!

CM Punk comes out to open the show with huge cheers. Shoes are hanging by his neck and has a bag in his hand. He starts his promo and says ruptured tendon but he is here because this is professional wrestling business and not a popularity contest. He will talk about future but first, he wants to talk about his past. He talks about selling over arena across the world. He says we love him because he has been unapologetic, but there are some people that hate him because of the same reasons. He points to some to the posters in the crowd and says fans can call him anything.

Punk says there are a lot of things for him to get off his chest. He then says there are people who think they are owed an apology. He then says these people, our favorite wrestlers, are softer than us. Pointing to the red bag, he says it has AEW World title and he never lost it. For shoes, he says there are people who wanted him to hang those, but there is no one who can fill them. Tell him when he is telling lies.

Wardlow(c) vs Luchasaurus – AEW TNT Championship

Wardlow gets the upper hand as the match starts. He chases Christian around the ring. Christian gets under the ring to survive. Wardlow gets back to the apron and Christian distracts him to allow Luchasaurus to hit him with a big boot. Wardlow lands on the floor. We cut to a break

Wardlow picks Luchasaurus up on his shoulder and drops him in the middle of the ring. Wardlow hits clotheslines before hitting shoulder tackles in the corner. A spinebuster from Wardlow before he gets to the top. Christian distracts him again and Luchasaurus trips him by disturbing the ropes. He hits Wardlow with a chokeslam for a near fall. Luchasaurus hits a headbutt to block a lariat but Wardlow answers with a lariat. Wardlow hits a powerbomb on Luchasaurus despite Christian’s attempt for distraction.

Wardlow goes for another powerbomb but Luchasaurus counters with a chokeslam for another near fall. Wardlow counters and hits a powerslam. He hits a Swanton bomb next. Wardlow goes to the top once again. Luchasaurus distracts the referee and Christian hits Wardlow with a camera. Wardlow drops to the mat and Luchasaurus covers him to get the pinfall.

Winner – Luchasaurus

Christian gets into the ring and celebrates with the title as if he is the champion.


We cut to Powerhouse Hobbs and QT Marshall backstage for an interview. They claim that Hobbs will be Owen Hart Tournament this year.

Andrade El Idolo vs Bubby Mathews

Buddy hits a tackle after getting out of a headlock but Andrade no-sells it. Same thing repeats before Andrade hits a shoulder tackle himself to drop Buddy. Buddy thought he has sent Andrade to the floor but Andrade poses at the ropes. Andrade sends Buddy to the floor. Julia Hart goes near Andrade’s skull mask on the steel steps. Andrade gets distracted a bit by this but he is able to kick Buddy off the apron and hits him with a moonsault.

Buddy sends him over the barricade and into the crowd. Andrade hits back with a diving hurricanrana from the barricade. Andrade has hurt his injured pec in this move and Buddy targets it as soon as they return to the ring. We cut to a break.

Andrade is down on the floor and is selling his injury. Buddy waits for him in the ring while the referee counts down. Buddy hits him with boots to the face as he returns to the ring. Andrade hits dragon screw leg three times as he targets Buddy’s injured knee. Andrade hits flying forearm to drop Buddy once again. Buddy blocks a figure four but Andrade hits double moonsault. Buddy counters a slingshot spear with a DDT off the ropes for a two-count.

Buddy gets to the top, but Andrade meets him there. Buddy blocks a superplex but Andrade holds on to the ropes to block a sunset flip powerbomb. Buddy hits a couple of superkicks to Andrade’s face. Andrade comes back with a spinning back elbow. Andrade puts on a figure four and then bridges it to figure eight to get the submission.

Winner – Andrade El Idolo

Andrade puts his hands out for a handshake but lights go off and other House of Black members are behind Andrade when they come out. Brody runs Andrade over with a clothesline. The lights go off again.


We get a video package for Scorpio Sky. He will be on Collision next week.

Tony Nese vs Miro

Tony Nese is out to the ring with Mark Sterling. Nese insults the crowd and threatens to close down Collision. Nese asks the crowd to do toe touches when Miro’s entrance interrupts him. Nese runs out when the bell ring. He catches Miro with a chop, but Miro no-sells it. Miro throws him back to the ring and tackles him to the corner for quick shots and mudhole stomps. A hard whip from corner to corner is followed by a clothesline. He hits 10 Beats of Bodhran next.

Nese hits a jawbreaker on the ropes. He drops Miro’s arm on the ropes next. Miro catches his crossbody and slams him to the mat. Sterling distracts him and Nese rolls him up for a two-count. Nese hits a kick to his face but Miro no-sells it and the following punches. Miro puts him down with a spinout Urinage. He hits Machka kick next followed by the camel clutch to get the submission.

Winner – Miro

We get a video package for CM Punk saying he never left, but was injured.

Willow Nightingale & Skye Blue vs Toni Storm & Ruby Soho

Blue hugs her mother at the ringside. Toni and Ruby attack their opponent from behind. Toni hits a suplex on the floor. Blue’s mom hit Toni and Ruby with punches when they pose in front of her. Willow runs them over and gets Ruby to the ring to start the match. A corner splash from Willow before a low crossbody in the middle to get a two-count. Willow hits a big chop before some short-arm clotheslines. Toni hits a blow to her back from outside before Ruby brings her down with a Russian Leg Sweep. Ruby hits some punches to take us to a break.

Willow blocks a suplex as we return and hits a clothesline on Ruby. Both women are down. Blue gets a hot tag and nails Toni with quick punches. She hits a hurricanrana, a rising knee strike and a roundhouse kick. Toni sends her to the apron but Blue hits a sidekick and crossbody from the top. Ruby and Willow also get involved before Toni puts on the cloverleaf on Blue. Blue is struggling but she drags to the ropes to break it.

Blue counters with a jacknife cover before tagging in Willow. Willow hits an Olympic slam on Toni. Ruby hits her with a No Future kick on Willow but Willow ends up tagging in Blue. Toni hits a German suplex and hip attack in the corner on Blue. Willow saves Blue from paint spray from Storm. The paint instead catches Soho. Willow hits a Death Valley Driver on Storm to send her to the floor. Blue hits Ruby with a Code Red to get the pinfall.

We get a pre-recorded promo from Ricky Starks announcingfor the Owen Hart tournament.


Next, we get a promo for Jeff Jarrett vs. Mark Briscoe Concession Stand Brawl match. Jarrett says nobody from his team will interfere.


Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he brings out The Acclaimed and Daddy A## Billy Gunn. Gunn says the trios title is not out of picture for them. They say AEW now stands for 2 things – Acclaimed Every Wednesday and Acclaimed Every Weekend. They want to make history with the first scissor on Collision. Everyone loves the Acclaimed. They hype up the scissor and Tony Schiavone also joins them in scissoring.

CM Punk, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler vs Jay White, Juice Robinson & Samoa Joe

Jay White starts against Dax Harwood. Dax takes White to the corner and the referee calls for a clean break. They lock up again and Dax hits a shoulder tackle before a jacknife cover for a two-count. White hits a few chops in answer. Dax answers with stiffer chops before a back body drop and some corner clotheslines. White goes for a big boot but Dax blocks it and hits another clothesline. White catches the ropes to stop Dax from putting sharpshooter. White rolls to the floor for a breather. Juice tags in and a distraction from White allows him to attack Dax from behind. Dax hits him with chops before a blind tag from Cash. Cash hits tackles on Juice and White.

Joe decides against coming in despite teasing it. Cash hits some chops before Juice hits a back body drop. He hits some shoulder tackles. Cash gets him up and hits a military press slam. Dax tags in before CM Punk also gets in to set up Cash to hit a body slam from the second rope. Punk covers Juice but he kicks out at two. Punk signals for GTS But Juice slips out in desperation. Samoa Joe tags in and the crowd goes berserk. Joe and Punk trade words before locking up. Joe hits big chops after taking Punk to the corner. Punk puts on a side headlock. We cut to a break.

Juice is in control against Dax as we return. Juice drops Dax with a big forearm shot. Joe comes in and hits his signature jabs. Quick tags from White and Juice before Dax hits a German suplex on Juice. Cash tags in to hit clothesline on Juice. He knocks off White with a kick. Juice is cornered and is hit with punches from the second rope. Cash hits a spinebuster by catching Juice when he tries to leap frog. Punk hits an elbow drop with Juice on Cash’s knee. Punk hits a backbreaker to take us to another break.

White has Cash in a single leg crab when we return. Cash reaches the ropes. Juice hits a body slam and a senton to get a two-count. Juice hits a back suplex when Cash gets out of his waistlock. Juice sends Cash into the corner with a hard whip. Joe comes in and hits back splash and Pele kick on Cash to get a two-count. White hits hard chops. Cash hits back but White brings him down with a chop block. Cash lands on his feet when Juice goes for a back suplex. Cash hits a back body drop and tags in Punk. Punk hits clotheslines on White and Juice before body slams and neckbreakers.

Punk hits rising knee strikes in the corner before hitting a combo move to drop both White and Juice. White blocks GTS with a rake to eyes. Punk hits a roundhouse kick before getting to the top. Juice disturbs the ropes to drop Punk. White hits an Urinage for a two-count. Punk blocks Blade Runner and hits a clothesline. Dax tags in and hits chops on White before putting him on the top. Cash tags in. Dax hits a superplex and Cash follows up with a splash from the top. Punk also hits an elbow drop from the top but Juice breaks the pin.

Joe tags in and trades punches with Punk. Punk hits a chop but he is blindsided by White. FTR take Jay and Juice to the floor. Punk sends Joe to the corner and hits rising knee strike. Joe puts on the Coquina Clutch. White holds back Dax while Juice holds back Cash. Punk is fading up. Cash counters with a DDT on Juice and spears White. Dax breaks the submission on Punk. Juice tags in and Punk blocks a DDT with a roundhouse kick. FTR hit Shatter Machine before Punk hits FTR on Juice to get the pinfall.
