Impact Wrestling has officially revealed Johnny Swinger has chosen to use his title shot to face Kenny King for the Digital Media Championship at Impact Emergence 2023 on August 27, 2023.

However, there is a slight possibility that Johnny Swinger might face Yoshinobu Kanemaru at Emergence as the latter will challenge Kenny King for the Digital Media Championship during the Countdown to Impact x NJPW Multiverse United 2 on August 20, 2023.
Impact Emergence 2023 will likely be headlined by Sanada vs a yet-to-be-announced opponent for the IWGP World Title. He won’t defend the title at the crossover PPV on August 20.
