STORYLINES

Trinity(c) vs Deonna Purrazzo – IMPACT Knockouts Championship

Trinity defeated Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary 2023 PPV to win Knockouts Championship. After Trinity and Dani Luna defeated The Coven in a tag team match on July 27 IMPACT episode, Purrazzo asked for a rematch for the title. IMPACT later announced it officially.

Josh Alexander, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin & Kushida vs Bully Ray, Moose, Brian Myers & Lio Rush

Alex Shelley & Kushida defeated Moose & Brian Myers in a tag team match on IMPACT July 27 episode. Bully Ray joined Moose & Myers to attack Shelley & Kushida. Josh Alexander came out for the save but Lio Rush then joined Ray’s team. Chris Sabin made his return from injury to join Shelley, Kushida and Alexander. IMPACT then announced an 8-man tag team match for Emergence event between them.

SANADA vs Jake Something

IWGP World Champion Sanada was announced to appear on the show. Later, IMPACT announced that he would face Jake Something in a non-title match.

MK Ultra(c) vs Shawntourage vs The Death Dollz vs The Coven – IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship

An argument between MK Ultra and SHAWntourage led to a singles match with Gisele Shaw defeating Masha Slamovich on IMPACT’s July 27 episode. An interference from Savannah Marshall led to Shaw beating Slamovich. IMPACT then announced a title shot for SHAWntourage against MK Ultra. The following week, MK Ultra said they were ready to take on any other team also to defend their titles. As a result, Death Dollz and The Coven were also added to the match.

Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster)(c) vs The Rascalz(Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) – IMPACT World Tag Team Championship

IMPACT announced a 4-team tournament to find the challenger for IMPACT Tag Team titles against SubCulture. The Rascalz defeated Jonathan Gresham and Mike Bailey in the first semifinal match. Sami Callihan and Rich Swann defeated ABC in the second semifinal. The Rascalz then beat Callihan and Swann to earn the title shot.
