John Cena & LA Knight Beat The Bloodline at WWE Fastlane 2023
John Cena and LA Knight defeated Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match at WWE Fastlane 2023 PLE.
The match kicked off with Cena getting the upper hand but The Bloodline took control with some nefarious tactics. Cena took a beating for a long time until, out of nowhere, he hit an Attitude Adjustment on Jimmy. Cena attempts to make a tag, but Solo managed to tag in first and pulled Cena back to his corner.
From this point in the match, Jimmy and Sikoa prevented Cena from making the tag and launched a brutal assault on him. However, Cena eventually managed to tag in Knight, and Knight took control with some quick action against Jimmy and Sikoa.

LA Knight was receiving enthusiastic support from the crowd, with the audience chanting his name. Cena returned to the ring looking for an Attitude Adjustment on Solo, but Jimmy intervened with a superkick to stop him. Jimmy then climbed to the top but Knight cut him off with a superplex. Cena followed up by delivering the 5-Knuckle Shuffle and Knight hit him with BFT to get the pinfall win.
After the match, Knight showed his respect for Cena by holding up his hands, signifying mutual respect between the two wrestlers.
Initially, AJ Styles was designated as John Cena’s partner, but Jimmy and Sikoa launched a brutal assault on Styles, leaving him needing to be taken out on a stretcher. As a result, Cena was then scheduled to face The Bloodline in a 2-on-1 handicap match.
During the September 29 episode of SmackDown, LA Knight came to John Cena’s rescue, preventing The Bloodline from attacking him further. Following this, LA Knight signed the contract to become Cena’s partner for Fastlane.
