Grayson Waller Effect WWE SmackDown Debut Set on May 19

Grayson Waller Effect talkshow debut on WWE SmackDown is set to headline on May 19, 2023 episode with a special guest AJ Styles.

Grayson Waller appeared on SmackDown for the first time this week on May 12 episode since being drafted to SmackDown in Draft 2023. He was backstage with Adam Pearce where he took offense on being a late pick in the draft.

To make up for it, he asked Pearce to book Grayson Waller Effect with the winner of SmackDown side of semifinal of World Heavyweight Championship tournament. The winner turned out to be AJ Styles who will now be the debut guest of Grayson Waller Effect on SmackDown.

Waller and Styles previously had a rivalry in WWE NXT last year after Waller took shots at Styles on social media. After Waller interrupted Styles on WWE RAW, Styles confronted Waller at NXT New Year’s Evil on January 4, 2022. Styles later defeated Waller on January 11, 2022 episode.
