Report: Bray Wyatt Close To Return, Recovering from Life-Threatening Illness

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is currently in the process of healing from a serious illness and is now very close to returning to WWE.

According to the report from Fightful Select, Bray Wyatt is currently in the process of recovering from an illness(which Fightful does not disclose), which was a threat to both his career and his life. The report adds that Wyatt may be cleared soon, but WWE and Bray Wyatt are taking extra precautions to give top priority to his long-term health.

The report also mentions that some creative ideas are discussed for Wyatt’s return and storyline from there. Some ideas were even mentioned for September, but his return still depends on if he gets clearance.

Wyatt is absent from television before WrestleMania 39 during the time he was feuding with Bobby Lashley. He was almost set to face Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but he was sidelined due to his health issues.

His last appearance for WWE came at WWE Road to WrestleMania Supershow, where he defeated LA Knight in a Lights Out Street fight.

Bray Wyatt’s Feind gimmick was one of the most thrilling and enchanting personas, which led him to win the WWE Universal Championship twice. However, he was still released from WWE back in July 2021.

Wyatt returned to the promotion at Extreme Rules 2022 with a new set of characters including Uncle Howdy. While the excitement was there for Wyatt’s return early on, fans’ attention started to vane after a while to the inconsistent nature of the storyline in the coming months.
