Axiom vs Nathan Frazer Set for Kickoff Match at NXT Deadline

Axiom is scheduled to go head-to-head against Nathan Frazer in a one-on-one matchup during the kickoff show at NXT Deadline 2023 event.

Axiom and Frazer were set to compete on December 5 episode of NXT, but their match concluded without a clear winner. The reason is that participants of the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge started brawling at ringside, causing the match between Axiom and Frazer to end in a no-contest.

Following the no-contest result of their match, WWE subsequently announced that Axiom and Frazer would now face each other in a showdown during the kickoff show at the NXT Deadline 2023 event.

Axiom and Frazer got into an argument last week in a discussion over Ilja Dragunov and Baron Corbin. Dragunov interrupted them to set up a match and beat Frazer. This week, a video aired featuring another discussion between Axiom and Frazer where Frazer got agitated and asked for a match.

Axiom’s most recent match took place on November 17 episode of SmackDown, where he was defeated by Dragon Lee. Meanwhile, Nathan Frazer’s last match occurred on November 28 episode of NXT, where he was defeated by Ilja Dragunov.

NXT Deadline 2023 will take place on December 9 at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT. A steel cage match is also set for the event, where Roxanne Perez will face Kiana James.
