Report: AJ Styles’ Scheduled Return Date to WWE Unveiled
AJ Styles, absent from WWE television in recent weeks, is reportedly gearing up for a return.
As per Wrestling Observer Radio’s report, AJ Styles is expected to return to SmackDown this week on December 8, 2023 episode, or in the coming weeks. Previously, PW Insider had also reported previously that Styles would make his return on the November 10 episode of SmackDown which ultimately did not occur.
AJ Styles has been out of action since a storyline incident that occurred on September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown. During this episode, Styles was attacked backstage, which prevented him from participating in a tag team match alongside John Cena at WWE Fastlane.

The assault was carried out by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, resulting in LA Knight teaming up with Cena to face the Bloodline members at Fastlane PLE. Since AJ Styles has been absent, his stablemates Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have also not been seen.
December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown is dedicated to the Tribute to the Troops, an annual special edition. This episode marks CM Punk’s return to the blue brand for the first time since 2014.
