AEW Women’s & International Title Match Set for Battle of the Belts 7
Two matches are set for AEW Battle of the Belts VII, featuring the AEW Women’s Championship ad AEW International Championship.
Toni Storm will defend her AEW women’s championship against Taya Valkyrie, and Orange Cassidy will defend his AEW International championship against Lance Archer.
During the AEW Rampage taping for July 14 episode, Taya Valkyrie defeated Izzy McQueen in a singles match. After the match, Toni Storm and Saraya confronted Valkyrie, which resulted in Valkyrie challenging Storm for her AEW Women’s Championship.

Toni Storm is currently in her second reign as AEW Women’s Champion by dethroning Jamie Hayter. She has recently successfully defended her title against Willow Nightingale at the Forbidden Door PPV event.
Also during AEW Rampage tapings, Lance Archer defeated Trent Beretta and attacked Chuck Taylor post-match. Archer went to issue a challenge to Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship at Battle of the Belts VII.
After hearing the challenge, Cassidy came out to the ring. Archer grabbed him, but his manager Jake Roberts told Archer to wait for the match at the Battle of the Belts VII.
Orange Cassidy was successful in defending AEW International Championship in a fatal 4-way match against Katsuyori Shibata, Daniel Garcia, and Zack Sabre Jr. at AEW NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 event. He has defended it 22 times since winning it last year.
AEW Battle of The Belts VII event is set to air on July 15, 2023, just after the Collison episode on the same night from the same arena. TNT Championship match is also scheduled for the event where Luchasaurus will defend against Shawn Spears.
