AEW Grand Slam: Moxley vs Fenix, Samoa Joe & Toni Storm Get Title Shot
Jon Moxley vs Rey Fenix International title match is added to AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2023, while Samoa Joe and Toni Storm are confirmed as the title challengers for the show.
Moxley previously defeated Fenix in a singles match before All In. The post-match attack from Moxley and Blackpool Combat Club led to Fenix being pulled out of Stadium Stampede match at All In. Fenix will now have a chance at revenge as he challenges Moxley for his International title.
The match was announced by AEW after Moxley defeated Big Bill at Dynamite this week. Fenix confronted Moxley backstage to have a heated exchange with him.

Samoa Joe is set to challenge AEW World Champion MJF at Grand Slam event now. On Dynamite this week(September 13) Joe defeated Roderick Strong in the final of Grand Slam World Title Eliminator tournament final to become the #1 contender for the title. Joe and MJF had a confrontation at All Out and later at Dynamite episode last week.
Toni Storm won the fatal 4-way match to earn a shot at AEW Women’s Championship. Toni pinned Britt Baker via a roll-up. She will now challenge her former stablemate Saraya for the title.
AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2023 is set to take place on September 20, 2023, from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York. Chris Jericho vs Sammye Guevara singles match, and Claudio Castagnoli vs Eddie Kingston title vs title match are also on the card.
