Report: AEW Full Gear 2023 PPV Buyrate Estimated at 122-140K
AEW Full Gear 2023 PPV event reportedly marked a triumph for AEW.
According to Dave Meltzer’s update in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Full Gear garnered a pay-per-view audience estimated between 122,000 to 140,000 buys. This aligns with Tony Khan’s statement post-show, where he mentioned the event exceeded 100,000 buys.
At AEW Full Gear 2023, the main event featured MJF defending his AEW World Championship and successfully retaining the title by defeating Jay White.
AEW Full Gear PPV buys are looking to be between 122,000 to 140,000 with how well the late buys do being the key factor.

Compared to previous events, the 2022 edition of Full Gear purportedly attracted 140,000 buys. In contrast, All Out in September 2023 surpassed 100,000 buys. Tony Khan mentioned that AEW All In in August 2023 neared the 200,000 buy-in mark.
AEW All Out 2021 remains the company’s highest-selling PPV event, reportedly drawing 215,000 buys.
