AEW has announced the opening match of October 25, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, while also revealing the opponents of Rob Van Dam and Hook for their tag team match.

MJF took to Twitter to express his impatience and determination to face Robinson, and he revealed that he has reached out to Tony Khan to arrange for their match to open the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite.

On October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Juice Robinson emerged victorious in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale, earning the status of #1 contender for MJF’s ring. Bullet Club Gold has intentions to take away everything from Maxwell after a group attacked their leader Jay White led by a man with MJF’s Devil Mask. White is set to face MJF at AEW Full Gear 2023 for AEW World title.

Rob Van Dam is set to return to AEW TV and was already announced for a tag team match with Hook as his partner. AEW has now announced that they will face Alex Reynolds and John Silver.

Kazuchika Okada is also set for the show where he and Orange Cassidy will face Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli.

October 25, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite will be live from Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, PA, US. Below is the announced lineup for the show:

  • Hikaru Shida vs Ruby Soho- AEW Women’s Championship match
  • Chris Jericho segment
  • Adam Page and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) (c) vs The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) and Brother Zay – ROH World Six-Man Tag Team title match
  • MJF vs Juice Robinson – Dynamite Diamond Ring match
  • Tony Khan gives a special gift to Sting; Darby Allin to be present during the segment
  • Rob Van Dam and Hook vs Alex Reynolds and John Silver
  • Orange Cassidy & Kazuchika Okada vs Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli
