AEW Dynamite October 25: Okada & Cassidy vs BCC, Shida vs Soho Set

AEW has added two matches and two segments for October 25, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, including AEW Women’s title bout and Chris Jericho segment.

Kazuchika Okada is set to return to AEW with him and Orange Cassidy facing Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli. At the AEW Battle of the Belts VIII event, Cassidy issued a challenge to Castagnoli and Danielson, surprising everyone by announcing Kazuchika Okada as his tag team partner. Tony Khan then officially confirmed the match.

Okada’s last AEW appearance was at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, where he faced Danielson and suffered a defeat.

During October 21 episode of AEW Collision, it was announced that Hikaru Shida will defend her AEW Women’s title against Ruby Soho. Soho had a backstage conversation with Lexy Nair, expressing her frustration with others who claim to deserve a championship. She asserted that she is the only one truly deserving of a title.

Shida’s recent title defense was on October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite where she defeated Emi Sakura. Soho defeated Skye Blue in her most recent match at Rampage this week.

Chris Jericho is also scheduled for the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite where he will participate in a sit-down interview with Renee Paquette. Jericho’s recent match was on October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite where he got defeated by Powerhouse Hobbs. He is currently feuding with Don Callis and his stable, and the interview is expected to take that storyline forward.

Darby Allin is also scheduled for the show, where he will attend the segment where Tony Khan will present a very special gift to Sting.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship match was already announced for the show where Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Adam Page will face The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) and Brother Zay. MJF is set to clash with Juice Robinson for the rights to have the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

October 25, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite will be live from Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, PA, US. Below is the announced lineup for the show:

  • Orange Cassidy & Kazuchika Okada vs Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli
