Report: AEW Battle of the Belts VIII Date & Location Revealed

The scheduled broadcast date for the upcoming AEW Battle of the Belts VIII event has been disclosed.

According to PWInsider, the eighth Battle of the Belts is scheduled for October 21, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee. No matches have been announced for the event yet. The one-hour special event airs on TNT in United States.

The event is scheduled to air immediately following the episode of Collision. On October 21, 2023, IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory is also scheduled, setting the stage for a clash between AEW and IMPACT.

All the matches on the Battle of the Belts events have been title matches from AEW, ROH, or any of the partner promotions like NJPW and AAA.

AEW Battle of Belts VII took place on July 15, 2023. At the event, Orange Cassidy secured a victory over Lance Archer for AEW International Championship, Toni Storm emerged victorious against Taya Valkyrie for AEW Women’s Championship, and in the main event, Luchasaurus defeated Shawn Spears to capture the TNT Championship.
